TwitterPeek, introduced in 2008 by Peek, Inc. and developed by Amol Sarva and the Peek team, aimed to provide a dedicated device for a streamlined Twitter experience. The handheld gadget featured a QWERTY keyboard and a small screen for displaying tweets and direct messages.

Despite its initial focus, TwitterPeek faced challenges hindering its success, such as limited functionality, lack of integration, and competition from emerging smartphones.
