The PM101 started in 2016 when I wanted to share content about Product Management as I was migrating to product role.

During this process I did a bunch of things which includes getting a certification at UC Berkeley, Scrum Master and Product Owner certifications by and many others. I also got a scholarship Bootcamp.

I was always sharing what I learned and in this process I transitioned my career to Program Management so I started to bring the program perspective into my writings too.

The blog name changed from Product Management101 to PM101 including the Product and Program Management…

The PM101 is a community with half-million visitors yearly that is growing over and over. This year I wanted to invite other amazing tech leaders to publish articles here with us.

We’re looking for interesting case studies, frameworks, book recommendations, skillset analysis and any other topic you think might be interesting to our community!

💌 Send me an email at so we can chat more about your ideas.

Another article I wanted to write for a long time. I talked a little bit more about user science and customer metrics you should keep in mind to help you understand why your users behave the way they do and how to validate certain assumptions with data.

In general I’d say be strategic when asking for customer feedback and the best customer experience happens when your product or service exceed the customer expectations.

In this article, there’s more information about Net Promoter Score (NPS), Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) and churn rate of course. But also customer loyalty & engagement, average time resolution and Customer Effort Score (CES).

See you soon.

It has never before been so crucial to create compelling presentations. Since the pandemic, much of the world’s workforce has worked remotely. It doesn’t matter if it’s a pitch presentation, training material, report deck, or a sales presentation, maintaining your audience’s engagement has never been so challenging.

You don’t need to be a designer to create amazing presentations. While I used to be a designer, there’s a lot of good work that can be done using Google Deck and Keynote, and of course, using your company presentation templates as your baseline.

I’m going to list some things to keep in…

When the pandemic hit hard, I started to do weekly 1:1s with people all over the world as my small attempt to help people. I talked with a bunch of aspiring Product Managers (PMs), and I decided to write a blog post with my thoughts about the things to keep in mind if you’re planning to transition your career to product or program management.

I also realized a lot of people don’t know how close they already are to their dream PM job or don’t even have a clear picture of the skills and experience they already have. This changed…

I know, I’m late on the Notion game. As a lot of people out there, I’m so impressed with the possibilities Notion brings so I decided to write about how you can create your portfolio using Notion — spoiler: it’s free!

Why do you Need a Portfolio?

A portfolio demonstrates your skills and experiences in a way that a résumé, cover letter or even an interview simply can’t! The second reason is that the process of putting together a portfolio helps you remember important projects and results you had in your career that you might be forgetting. …

It’s been awhile since we have discussed this topic together and I wanted to share a fresh perspective and share it on my blog as well. I wanted to bring the metrics discussion specifically because there are very few companies out there that offer an excellent customer experience to their customers. I believe we should be talking about this way more than we do.

Benchmarking customer experience metrics is one of the most important things companies should keep in mind when thinking about improving their user experience. …

I might be late on the Notion game since I only started using it for “real” in 2020. I’ve been really impressed on how customizable and straightforward it is, although it’s very easy to overcomplicate your flow and tracking if you’re using Notion for that purpose.

I’ve talked a lot about the importance of Product and Program Managers developing their own portfolio to showcase their experience and how their products are shipped in a way that a professional resume would never properly highlight. You can also check the post I wrote about this topic.
